Vice President of Development
Tanya is no stranger to the fundraising world. She started her career in the field as a Campaign Associate at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, and worked her way up over the years. Most recently, Tanya started her new position with the Jewish Home and Care Center Foundation as the Vice President of Development.
Tanya’s successful fundraising journey also includes past positions with the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the Milwaukee Center for Independence. She is originally from New York, having moved to the Midwest after meeting her husband, and has a degree in Marketing and Business from Wayne State University in Detroit.
“After spending a number of years working at other organizations, I am thrilled to be back working in the Jewish community,” said Tanya. “It’s very exciting to be here.”
Tanya is also passionate about furthering the mission of the Foundation. “I find it very rewarding to be working to ensure that our seniors in Milwaukee have a warm home and are being taken care of,” she said.
Mike Sattell, President/CEO of the Jewish Home and Care Center Foundation, said, “We are thrilled to have Tanya join our team. I, like so many friends of our Foundation and Ovation Communities, have had the privilege of knowing Tanya and her family for years. She brings her unbound enthusiasm, professionalism and love of Judaism to our organization and community. We are incredibly fortunate to be able to welcome Tanya to our team and have her help us perpetuate our long-held mission.”
When she is not fundraising, Tanya is busy spending time with her husband and their three children – Benji age 15, Eliie age 12, and Shir age 9 – at their home in Glendale. She is also on the Board of Directors for Bader Hillel Academy, is active with her synagogue, Anshe Sfard Kehillat Torah, and enjoys jogging and traveling.
