Michelle Putz, Chief Operating Officer of the Jewish Home and Care Center, Chai Point Senior Living and Sarah Chudnow Community, has been selected for recognition as one of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee College of Nursing’s 50 Distinguished Alumni. The honor recognizes Putz’s career achievements and the impact she has had on health care, the community and the nursing profession.
“It is an honor to be among the celebrated alumni for this milestone in the School of Nursing’s history,” said Putz. “I am proud of my UWM credentials, and know that all of us who represent the school share in the belief that our education was pivotal in helping us to become who we are today.”
Putz is a 1996 graduate of the College of Nursing. She also earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA), with a concentration in Health Care Administration and Management, from UWM in 2004.
The College’s 50th Anniversary celebration culminates the weekend of April 14-16, 2016, with a special reception honoring the 50 Distinguished Alumni Awards recipients on the evening of Friday, April 15.
The Jewish Home and Care Center offers a comprehensive continuum of care services to the community, including long- and short-term rehabilitation in a post-acute care setting, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, long-term nursing care, skilled nursing care and respite care.
