Tanya Mazor

For the past three years Tanya Mazor has been the Vice President of Development for the Jewish Home and Care Center Foundation in Milwaukee. Tanya has been a professional fundraiser for close to 25 years and has held executive fundraising leadership positions with Milwaukee Center for Independence, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. Over the course of her professional career and volunteer leadership, Tanya has raised over $350 million.
Tanya has led and guided staff teams to achieve their best and is a mentor and coach to new and mid-management fundraising professionals. She volunteers at numerous organizations and is a member of numerous Milwaukee area non-profit boards including Board President of Bader Hillel Academy (a private Jewish day school in Milwaukee. She also serves on the boards of RUACH, a Jewish music and arts organization and Frankly Music, a chamber music company led by the former Concertmaster of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Tanya has been active with her synagogue in numerous capacities including the Executive Committee and led her synagogue’s Leave a Legacy Campaign (a program of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and Grinspoon Foundation).
Tanya spearheaded a grassroots fundraiser: The 50_for_50 Campaign, Tanya’s quest which raised $50,000 as part of her 50th birthday celebration in support of The Jewish Home and Care Center Foundation, Bader Hillel Academy, and the Friends of the IDF (earmarked for Lone Soldiers).
Tanya is a member of the planning committee for the Association of Jewish Aging Services (AJAS) annual conferences and a guest lecturer
Tanya is a wife and mother of three children. In her spare time, she is a long-distance runner and completed her first marathon in September 2019.
