Sandra Reynolds
Administrator, Jewish Home & Care Center / Kavod Terrace
Sandra Reynolds serves as the Nursing Home Administrator at the Jewish Home, bringing over 30 years of diverse healthcare experience to her role. Her unwavering commitment to person-centered care and resident well-being shapes a compassionate and supportive environment where both residents and staff thrive. Under her leadership, the Jewish Home prioritizes quality care alongside regulatory excellence.
Sandra’s journey in healthcare began as a Certified Nursing Assistant and progressed to Licensed Practical Nurse. She proudly served 10 years as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale.

Rehabilitation Services
Short-Term Care
Our premier rehabilitation programs deliver high success rates through individualized care. With in-house therapists committed to outstanding outcomes, Ovation offers a variety of rehab options tailored to each resident’s unique needs.
Therapies include:
- Physical Therapy: Regain functional mobility and improve strength and flexibility
- Occupational Therapy: Focus on performing everyday tasks like eating, dressing, and bathing
- Speech Therapy: Address speech challenges, swallowing difficulties, and cognitive impairments
Long-Term Care
Skilled Nursing
We offer attentive skilled nursing care focused on supporting recovery, maintaining health, and enhancing quality of life in a safe and compassionate environment. Our care includes:
- Wound management
- Pain control
- Intravenous (IV) therapy
- Post-surgical care
- Support for chronic and multiple health conditions
To meet the diverse needs of our residents, we collaborate closely with hospice, palliative care, and respite providers, ensuring personalized support at every stage of care.
Transitional Care
Transitional care is designed for those recovering from a surgery or illness who are no longer in need of 24-hour skilled nursing care, but would like additional, temporary, assisted living support until they are ready to return home. Services include:
- A beautifully furnished and decorated apartment with kitchenette
- Licensed nursing staff on-site 24 hours a day
- Three delicious kosher meals per day, and snacks as needed
- Transportation coordination for medical appointments
Respite Care
The Jewish Home & Care Center offers short-term respite care for individuals recuperating from surgery, illness, or other health issues, while receiving 24-hour care in a safe and nurturing environment. Stays usually last two to four weeks and include the following services:
- 24-hour care by trained caregivers
- Private single-bed guest rooms
- Housekeeping and daily bed linen services
- Medication management and medical needs supervision
Hospice Care
At the Jewish Home & Care Center, we understand that end-of-life care is a deeply personal and emotional journey. Our Hospice Care program focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life—providing residents and their families with compassionate support in a familiar, caring environment.
Residents receive hospice services right here at the Jewish Home, surrounded by familiar staff and comforting surroundings. Care includes:
- Skilled nursing and symptom management
- Medications, supplies, and necessary medical equipment
- Emotional, spiritual, and grief support for residents and families
- Volunteer companionship and presence
