Ovation Communities partners with local universities, colleges, and student groups to welcome volunteers completing service hours or seeking meaningful community engagement. We also collaborate with nearby elementary and high schools to support intergenerational programming that brings joy and connection to our residents. Many of our volunteers come to us because a loved one once called Ovation home; they choose to honor that legacy by giving back through their time and talents, including those who serve on our boards and committees.
Hand in Hand Partners in Caring
Hand in Hand Partners in Caring was founded in 1906 (then known as the Women’s Auxiliary) by a small group of dedicated volunteers hoping to support Ovation Communities and its residents financially and through acts of service. Hand in Hand’s grant program is designed to fund innovative new initiatives that make a tangible difference in the daily lives of residents. Many of their services also include activities that focus on fostering friendship and camaraderie among residents and staff, as well as providing meaningful support at difficult times.
The combined innovative advancements, along with the added personalized touches and little extras brought forward lovingly by Hand in Hand, help ensure a bright future for Ovation’s residents.

Intergenerational Programming
Bringing younger generations together with our seniors forms mutually beneficial relationships that inspire growth, understanding, and fun. Our B’nai Mitzvah Projects and intergenerational boards help discover the treasures of older generations.
By fostering a shared culture of values, beliefs, and goals, we aim to encourage productive and positive engagement.
