Sefer Yizkor Memorial Book
The Sefer Yizkor (Book of Memory) offers a meaningful way to remember and honor loved ones during the High Holy Days. Your tribute not only preserves their memory but also helps sustain the traditions and spiritual life that mean so much to our residents and community.
Participate in This Year’s Sefer Yizkor
To include the names of your loved ones in the 5787 Sefer Yizkor Memorial Book, complete the form below or download the donation form and submit by Friday, August 21, 2026. You can either mail the form or email Alex Rabbitt.
The Sefer Yizkor will be distributed throughout Ovation Communities before Yom Kippur and used during Yizkor services in the Kohl Family Synagogue. This year, names included in the Sefer Yizkor will also be read aloud during the Yizkor Service as Kaddish is recited.
A suggested minimum donation is $18 for one listing and $54 for multiple listings. Page dedications are also available:
- Full page: $500
- Half page: $360
- Quarter page: $250
All donations benefit the Foundation’s Hyman Kastrul Synagogue Fund, helping sustain the traditions, worship, and spiritual life of our community.
