At Ovation Communities, we are committed to creating an environment where residents remain active, engaged, and connected. Our diverse, thoughtfully designed activities promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, with programs tailored to individual preferences and needs.
Each community is guided by a passionate Director of Life Enrichment, curating a vibrant calendar of events. Our offerings include dance classes with Milwaukee’s renowned Danceworks, monthly birthday celebrations, ceramics workshops, music therapy, interactive trivia, bingo, movie nights, and more. Residents also enjoy enriching outings such as shopping trips, dining experiences, theater visits, professional sports events, and summer boating excursions.
We take pride in our intergenerational programming, fostering connections between residents and local students from Bader Hillel Academy, Milwaukee Jewish Day School, Mequon Jewish Preschool, Yeshiva, St. Joan Antida, and UW-Milwaukee. This exchange of knowledge and mentorship benefits both generations, enriching the entire community.

Meet Our Life Enrichment Team
Kimberly Rosenau
Director of Life Enrichment, Jewish Home & Care Center
Kimberly’s journey to Jewish Home began unexpectedly through a coffee shop and a local newspaper ad. After six years of teaching kindergarten and elementary music, she was seeking a change. She applied to our job opening and secured the position of Activity Professional at the Jewish Home the following week, a role she has passionately embraced for the past 18 years.
Throughout her career, Kimberly has found immense joy in providing meaningful moments of connection, learning about Judaic traditions, honoring Shabbat, celebrating small victories, and supporting those in mourning. These experiences have deeply enriched her life. Over the years, she has also honed her skills in team building and leadership, which she eagerly shares with others. Outside of playing the piano, Kimberly treasures knitting with the residents—an activity she was reintroduced to by a resident and has come to love.
Jessica Cox
Director of Life Enrichment, Chai Point
With over 10 years of experience, Jessica is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the geriatric community. As Director of Life Enrichment for Chai Point, she oversees a variety of programs and events tailored to the unique needs of residents, promoting social engagement, physical activity, and personal growth.
Jessica is committed to fostering meaningful connections between residents and the broader community, including intergenerational activities that bring together children and older adults. A graduate of Mount Mary University with degrees in Occupational Therapy and Psychology, Jessica takes a holistic approach to residents’ physical and mental well-being.
Katie Lobacz
Dementia Specialist, Kavod Terrace
Katie has been working in healthcare since 2003, with 14 years in Activities and 10 years at Ovation. She holds an associate’s degree in occupational therapy assistance, is Activity Professional Board Certified (AP-BC), and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).
Katie’s approach to activities goes beyond the activity itself—it’s about creating meaningful experiences that are purposeful for each individual. She is committed to constantly adapting and evolving our programming to meet residents where they are on their life’s journey, all while ensuring the process is enjoyable and fulfilling.
